Natalie Haines (she/her) is a disabled illustrator and 2D animator who graduated from the Columbus College of Art & Design in May of 2022, with BFA in 2D animation with a minor in illustration. Natalie specializes in animal and creature-based designs and concepts, with an extensive focus in digital painting and traditional mixed-media illustration. Her art explores both the natural world and the oddities within our morbid curiosity as human beings. She strives to spread awareness about conservation efforts and respect for the resources around us, as well as disability support and understanding. Her Cheetah Conservation Project work for the Columbus Zoo & Aquarium, and design work with The Ohio State University Clinical Research Department successfully raised money and awareness for these same efforts. Natalie currently works behind the scenes in animation, comics, and other character-based media, helping to bring to life new and familiar characters. Recently, she has done an abundance of freelance work for the IDW Publishing Sonic the Hedgehog and My Little Pony official ongoing comic book series.

Natalie has done work for IDW Publishing, the Ohio State University, The Columbus College of Art & Design, the Columbus Zoo & Aquarium, and several independent studios in the form of illustration, fine art, and graphic design.
